About TechTags

TechTags is a set of PDF tools built around one idea: fixing a PDF should take less time than explaining the problem to someone else. No installs, no account required to start, and nothing kept longer than it has to be.

What we built

Every tool runs the same way: your file is processed on our server for exactly as long as the job takes, then deleted — automatically after a couple of hours at most, and immediately once you download your result. We built the file-handling code that way on purpose, not as an afterthought.

Where a tool has real limits — Redact PDF covers content rather than stripping it, Compress PDF gets modest rather than dramatic size reductions, Repair and Unlock can't fix everything — we'd rather say so on the tool page itself than let you find out the hard way. You can read exactly what each tool does and doesn't do before you use it.

How it's paid for

Every tool is free to use. Premium is optional and raises file size and usage limits while removing ads — it doesn't unlock tools that are otherwise locked. See Pricing for details.
