1. Files you process
When you use a tool, your file is uploaded to our server, processed, and made available for you to download. It is automatically deleted after 2 hours, and deleted immediately once you download the result. We don't review, scan for content, back up, or share the files you process. Avoid uploading anything you don't have the right to process.
2. Account information
If you create an account, we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password), and a record of which tools you've used and when — this history is visible only to you, in "My Files." You can use every tool without an account.
3. Payment information
If you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we receive only your subscription status and a Stripe-assigned customer reference.
4. Contact form
If you contact us, we store your name, email, and message so we can respond, and to keep a record of support requests.
5. Cookies
We use one strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms from cross-site attacks. With your consent (see the banner shown on your first visit), we may also use analytics cookies to understand site usage, and, if enabled, advertising cookies from Google AdSense. 6. Server logs
Like most web servers, ours logs IP addresses and request details for security and abuse prevention (for example, rate-limiting how often one address can use a tool). These logs are not linked to your account unless you're signed in while making the request.
7. Third parties we use
Stripe (payments), our email provider (transactional email like password resets), CloudConvert (for the 8 tools that convert to or from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, or PDF/A — see below), and — only if enabled — Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google AdSense. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Every other tool on this site processes your file entirely on our own server. Only those 8 specific tools send your file to CloudConvert to perform the conversion, since that's not something achievable on our own infrastructure — the tool page for each one says so directly before you use it.
8. Your rights
You can request a copy of your account data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account entirely, by contacting support@techtags.net.
